USB Memory Stick on FlexEdge
This video uses the SWD database example to read files from a USB Memory stick instead of the resident internal memory or a micro SD memory card in the FlexEdge. From my findings it treats the USB Memory stick just like the other memory card options.

Change DisplayPage Resolution on FlexEdge

This video shows how I imported a C3.1 database from a 7" HMI into a DA70 in C3.2 and then needed to change the Size of the DisplayPage resolution to something larger. After doing this, I needed to reboot the DA70 to get the webpage to laod correctly. Don't know why that was the case as I tried it in both Google Chrome and Edge browsers.

Good afternoon Sr. Is it possible to use Crimsom software without having a RedLion Device?
Absolutely! Download Crimson 3.2 and run it in the Emulator mode. It will completely work for 15 minutes and then shut down. Just download again to the Emulator and your 15 minutes starts all over. the server name IP address, is that the same IP address that is on network one, that I use to see my data logs and remote view?

I must have the wrong plan. AT&T, told them I need a data plan with public static IP address. They told me my IP address. Worked with red lion. Set everything up the way you did. They say the APN should be i2gold but I get no bars with that. I get full bars if I put it on broadband but that doesn’t hold the static IP address. Back to try to get AT&T to make sure the plan is right. 🤦♂️ Thanks for all your amazing videos.

Great videos! Do you have a video of how to set the cell sled up from the start? Have a DA70 with cell sled, put sim card in it, What to do from there to get to where you are now?
Himm... I don't have that exact thing but could make one up. #1 requirement on the SIM card is that it must be a DataPlan type account and if you want remote access into the DA70 you will need a Static IP address from your SIM provider. And also a valid APN #. Your typical AT&T or Verizon store employee is to stupid to be able to sell you this kind of SIM card. They will take your money but they will sell you the wrong thing 98.5% of the time. This site is who I usually refer folks for SIM cards, solvenetworks.com/

Hey joe, I have a g10 and the screen is bad and I want to use this database on the new CR3000 with a 7 inch screen. Both are running 3.1 crimson. How do I convert to a different screen size?
Open up the G10 database in Crimson 3.1. Then go to File pull-down and choose Save Conversion. Pick CR3K 7" HMI and save file as a new name. You may need to tweak your DisplayPages a bit.

Joe.. Is the software you are using to configure the S15C a banner package or something you devolope to run on a RL HMI ?
All of the software used in this video is a database written in the Crimson software from RedLion Controls for their HMI products. Download Crimson 3.2 from RedLion.net and you should be able to build the same HMI program that I wrote. Or send me an email to wazoo@adcreps.com and I will send you my database. Hi Joe , nice videos. About smart duplicate issue looks like is a bug in crimson 3.1 Same thing happen to me when I try to use that feature.
It happens to me when I have a huge Crimson database open or if I have a Gazillion other apps open at the same time, or if I click the SmartDuplicate too fast and Crimson can not keep up. Usually I will save the database, close Crimson, and then re-open. Some things just require patience.

Hi Joe, this method work´s whith all models? For example, I have a Graphite G07 and crimson 3.2 and i need to transfer the Data log to a USB stick
I believe so but I have not tried it yet. You will find the settings for the Thumb Drive aka USB Stick in the Device Configuration settings under USB Devices. The settings should be the same there as in C3.0 for File Synchronization 1 or 2.

Great Joe, can I use indirect tag with the DPS001 modbus is gateway? Or is it only for HMIs?
This should work on any DSPSX, DSPGT, and DSPZR. It will not work on the low cost DSPLE unit. Check the lower right hand corner of Crimson for the System area and see if you have Functions-TagData and look for those Functions there.
